Sprint even had enough customers or data speeds worth throttling? 😲
Who knew!?!

I gave up on Sprint long ago when I had to turn Wi-Fi off just to receive picture messages.

What garbage phone did you have that couldn't get picture messages while on WiFi, I do criticize Sprint a lot, and still have a cheap old school SERO Premium line with them for occasional roaming use in northern AZ, but i've never had a phone with them that could not get MMS while on WiFi.

the LTE has been pretty decent in Phoenix as of late as well, just three months ago the 3G was so damn unusable that you could not even pull up Google Maps during primetime.

It was a long time ago. Think when Sprint didn't have MMS yet and was using 'Picture Message'
