I'm not the only one who is concerned about what Google is doing with GMS.
...
They offer good products, and I'm okay with them preloading it on android, just as apple preloads their stuff on the iPhone.
What I feel is antitrust behavior from google is them blocking youtube access from Microsoft.

It appears that another group of parasitic ambulance chasing lawyers are trying to reach into some deep pockets and hope for a settlement. Settlement, because the law suit would have no chance with a jury.
...
I can smell out of court settlement. That's what these lawyers live for.

seem to understand what is going on with GMS. You just assume that this another group trying to get some cash out of a big company. But you're oblivious to what is actually wrong with what Google is doing.

The way they are doing their licensing agreements is squeezing out independent vendors in favor of large companies like Samsung, HTC, and LG.
I believe its an abuse of the open community and unethical. Their practices are certainly anti-competitive. I don't think Android has much to do with their monopoly on search, because it exis...

That is a huge debate. I'm not going to get into it because I don't care enough and honestly don't know enough about open source and stuff like that to intelligently debate you. Let alone know how I feel about the situation. I do know enough to say that your feelings on this are very vaild and a lot of other people feel the same way. LOL not that you need my approval. But at least you know that I'm not trying to say that you are wrong.
I listen to the All About Android Netcast and they talk about this issue from time to time. I think they decided that Open Source is great for building something up but not great for keeping it huge like Google want Android to be.
