this has been in the works for some time now. UMTS was launched well over a year ago in some markets and finally we are seeing the streaming video. I want real 4g like they have in Japan. that might impress me.

Let's get 3g up and running, and give it some time to reach its full potential before we go jumping to another technology, shall we?

You want to talk about jumping the gun?

First, how about they fix their crappy ATT coverage area they took over. It's absolute crap.

Second, how about they actually carry some decent phones in their line.

Third, omg this site is slow!

Really? I guess maybe it is just my area. I live in Central Illinois and the phone choices aren't very good in my opinion. I guess I'm just picky.

You either spend $30 and get an absolutely bare phone with bad reception. Or you spend $200 dollars and get a phone with everything you don't need.

All the phones in the middle just aren't apealing to me at all.

I already use Helix player on my Nokia 6682 to listen to realAudio streaming audio. I haven't really tried video yet. At the same time, they are contradicting themselves.

The just put out a change to their Media Net user agreement stating that you cannot "tether" devices for internet connection. Well, if you are going to be streaming audio/video, then you better beleive that you will be racking up the data on Media Net.

They don't want you use too much data, but they do. I don't get it.
