Just Enough Info to Be Frustrating
As usual, the new information on the RAZR 2, is just enough information to frustrate. You know that it is in R&D, you know that it is only a prototype, and you know it's GSM with some new bells an whistles. No news on potential release dates and which carriers if any in the US will have the phone for availablility. Argh. Oh well, looks cool and if it does get ITunes, it should be interesting. I just use regular MP3 players personnally. They meet the need and don't cost a fortune. Besides, why do I need more than one or two hours of songs at a time? I only work out for 2 hours at a time. And here's to hoping that both national GSM carriers get the phone. Although I can hear the Cingular droves now, "T-Mobile won't get it, it's a Cin...

You've got a point - after Cingular's got it for 6 months straight, it does become an old phone. It's why I don't own the RAZR V3 --- because by the time you could get one here in the US (OEM - US released w/ warranty) everyone and their dog had one. Where's the fun in that?
If Moto does decide to offer some toys to the other players, I'll buy one.

I don't own the RAZR V3 because it's a Motorola for starters. Secondly, it's a an overpriced and overhyped piece of ****. Lastly, like the iPod (another overpriced and overhyped POS) every dumb **** and their grandmother has one now. So much for exclusive.
I say get a REAL phone such as the Sony Ericsson S710a or the Nokia 6682. The RAZR is junk

Opinions vary, I didn't really like the SE S710a. And I have never really liked Nokias. All experiences I had with Nokia were negative. I heard how great they were, but the ones my family used weren't so good. On the other hand, I have been using Moto phones for the better part of a decade and I have had no trouble with their phones. Interesting everyone elso has so much trouble with Moto.

I took back the S710a - great camera, junk phone. What good is a phone that cannot maintain signal. The RAZR does an excellent job with reception - something most SE phones cannot attain (with the exception of the Z520 - I'm impressed with its signal)
The 6682 is great if you don't mind a backpack to carry it in.
