Unless you carry a separate calculator, a separate phone, a separate camera, a separate address book with you do not begrudge someone with vision issues a built-in magnifier, especially one that does the tricks this one does.
With the larger screened Lumias this is a huge help to those with vision issues. I downloaded it yesterday for use in my special education classroom. When the district's vision specialist comes around I'll show her so she can add it to her bag of useful things for our students. The district now uses mostly very pricy Apple products. With Lumias now populating the lower end of the market this can provide an opportunity to equip more people with more ability for the same or less cost.
