Eric, you wrote both articles on the Galaxy S5 for T-Mobile and AT&T. Even though both carriers are essentially pricing it the same, you wrote them as if both are offering completely different pricing plans. AT&T offers a $0 down option, yet you just mentioned the monthly fee and full retail. But the title of your T-Mobile article is that they are offering it for $0 down, with a little blurb about 2 year price. Why the discrepancy in how the articles were written? Always like reading your articles but these struck me as not real balanced. Thanks.

err. maybe MOST att customers buy it on 2 years contracts att 199$ and MOST tmobile customers buy it with 0$ down. that is why.
who care about att also do 0$ down, not many att customers care about it.

Negative Batman. Almost EVERY AT&T customer on the Mobile Share Value plan WILL buy this on "Next" - aka - "Zero down". AT&T customers care DEEPLY about the "Zero down" because doing a 2 year after 02/02/14 means they lose that $25 credit they receive every month from the Mobile Share Value plans. You'd be a fool to do a 2 year contract on said plan - and I'll pretty much assure you that 3/4 of their post-paid subscriber base is on this plan now. Very little kept the unlimited data when faced against saving sometimes hundreds (yes, over $100 for 5+ line accounts).

Basically, you make T-mobile sound like they offering some different program, when in reality, it's the SAME thing, except T-mobile have their own quirks to it. Same thing - ...

I was going to actually type a logical response - until I got to the point where I realized you're not intelligent enough to know where the "$" is positioned - so at this rate, why are you worth my time to argue/debate with?

Netboy, the article brings up the $25/month option, and the only way to get that is to do the $0 down. So it just seems natural to mention that like it did in this article. Whether or not customers want to do it is irrelevant. It is part of the program and should be stated as such.

I wrote the articles the way I did because AT&T Next Plans are always $0 down. T-Mobile often charges a $99 downpayment for some devices. T-Mo is offering the $0 downpayment on the GS5 for a limited time only, that's why I called it out. T-Mo's press release was unclear about the length of the limited $0 promotion, though.

Thanks for the clarification Eric. I see you did the same thing with the Sprint release of GS5. You specifically noted the $0 down and 24 monthly payments as one of the two options, which are similar to AT&T. Do they have different pricing options like T-Mobile where they charge a downpayment on some devices?
