Excellent review fellas. I just wish you guys had the chance to review the device prior to launch day. I sell these things and honestly, it takes alot to blow me away, but the the iPhone floored me on a lot of levels. This device has already laid the ground work for mobile entertainment for years to come. I just wish there weren't so many Verizon and Sprint fanboys hating on in the Forums and Review sections of the iPhones Phonescoop page. Thanks again for giving another, unbiased, in depth review.

It is absolutely possible that people may not buy into hype and develop their own opinions. However, it is also possible (and more likely in this scenario) that the dislike for the iPhone has more to do with jealousy 😢 than anything else. If you ran a business and your biggest competitor just launched a product that is going to potentially hurt your business 😈 , you might try to come up with all the negatives you possibly could in order to take attention away from the product. But then again, why would anyone want to do that 🤨 .

The new iphone is a sweet looking phone, but that is about it, I have done a lot of research on this phone, and all I can say time, just give it time, maybe 3 months, maybe 6 - but I can almost guarantee, a large majority of people that have spent the crazy amount of money being charged for this phone, will wish they spent the money on something that is worth the price-tag - fan-boys and girls, don't need to say anything, the phone will do all the talking.....

yes i'm jealous of an overpriced phone that's lacking basic features even low-end phones have these days. you sure pegged me. [/sarcasm]
there are a lot more reasons to dislike the iphone besides the fact that it's on a competing carrier. half a grand + for a pretty looking phone that's still technically in beta stage and is lacking in a lot of basic features is an insult. that's a pretty big negative.

I think some people are missing the point when it comes to the iPhone. I definitely agree on the "not wanting it" part. I've got a Pearl, and I'm incredibly satisfied. Plus, its a lot easier on the pocketbook.
But Apple's intentions with the iPhone were not to match everyone else's phone on the market. Of course it is missing basic features that we're used to. That's the point! Apple set out to reinvent how we think of a cell phone. The key word there: reinvent. It's not supposed to compete with every other phone. It's supposed to redefine the idea of it. If you don't like it, cool. But to say it sucks because of lack of features doesn't work.
