It wasn't. But now that the Deathstar owns it, they can combine the networks and spectrum and make it better than before.

At least as limited as Cricket is/was they deployed LTE over most of its tiny network, more then I can say for Sprint. Well know that they rebranded Sprint pre-paid, that may all change. 🤣

Actually in my area, Sprint has overlaid LTE on 90% or more of their towers, and they have far surpassed TMobile in rural and suburban LTE coverage. I'm near the Chicago market. Still, I refuse to do business with Sprint. I have a Ting account I use to monitor their network buildout though.

It is stronger than Aio Wireless, which is a brand that has gone nowhere since it was introduced.
