We do need more options...
When it comes to consumer broadband service, at least in my area if you want a fast broadband connection you could only go with Time Warner for cable connection, or Verizon with DSL connection. You had the option of Earthlink internet service, but that was also through Time Warner. You know what is like to be paying $45 a month for a 15/1.5 broadband connection? On top of that, by next month Time Warner plans to up their fee to $57.99 a month. Speeds are not improving, is more congested than ever, and on top of that they want to charge more. Finally Verizon FiOS finished their installations last month in my area, so last week I switched right on time to save me from that increase. the problem is, who is going to stop Verizon from doing the s...
