If I can get my 12" Powerbook online with this puppy using bluetooth then I won't miss the fact that it doesn't have a PCMCIA slot anymore.

Any news on whether Sprint will disable this capability???

$20 Paypal to anyone who knows for sure (and can prove it in print) before monday the 19th of Sep '05.

I'll take you up on your offer. It will be supported. However, the initial shipment of devices will have it disabled. A future software update will enable it.

From the Sprint press release:
"Dial-up networking capabilities for use with Bluetooth-enabled laptops and desktop computers will be enabled with a future software release."

You can never trust them when they say a future firmware upgrade will enable something. You just can't.
