Expensive HDMI cables are the biggest scam ever....HDMI connections are a strictly binary thing, either it is connected or its not, there is no such thing as one cable providing a 'better' connection than another. People are fooled into buying expensive HDMI cables because they confuse them with Coax cables. With Coax cables, the strength of the signal is determined by how good the connection is, a better connection equals a better picture, something we have all experienced at one time or another when we go behind the TV to tighten the Coax to improve the picture. It's worth paying for a more expensive coax cable because a more expensive cable can create a stronger connection. With HDMI, either it's connected or not, there is no 'improving the connection'.
