That a company who could barelly manage their network would also be able to apparently barelly manage their own business.

I thought it was funny that it says that sprint was "Dissapointed". I'd be pretty dissapointed too if somebody tried to sue me for almost 400 million dollars. Hopefully the state takes every single penny from them.

No its funny that a government agency tells a company they owe more in taxes. Anytime the government can take more money from people or business they will take it.

T-Mobile fanboy? The State of NY is claiming that Sprint was not charging enough in taxes, Sprint says they were nothing more than that. But u in all your supreme knowledge know about managing a multinational multibillion dollar business. Yeah right....

Based on how poorly they've done, who are you to say that I couldn't do a better job? Nobody, thats who.

Clearly they don't know too much about it, as they have just done an awesome job managing their finances.

I know, right. Some of these clowns crack me up. They just read a headline and jump to conclusions without bothering with any pertinent details. I suppose the sheeple of this day and age don't realize that being accused of something does not necessarily equate to being guilty of that accusation.

1) Most businesses I know, have to file tax claims quarterly. My question is why this wasn't caught earlier?

2) I find it odd that NY is presumably the only state seeking financial restitution from Sprint.

3) Half of my mortgage every month goes to taxes and our property taxes are the highest tax burden in the country. It's a very greedy state where the money seems to get lost in between the collection process and administratng where it should be redirected for legitimate expenditures.

4) I have lost all respect for the NY politicians that supported the ban onto NYC individuals from purchasing anything larger than 16oz soft drinks.

This has been going on for sometime, its not new. And agree with you totally about the local tax situation in most of the northeastern states.

How in the world can you be against banning soda? Soda is bad for you like Cocaine is bad for you and Cocaine is bad for you. Soda makes people fat. So it should be outlawed.

i don't think soda has a multi million dollar trade that kills thousands of people every year. False equlivalence. Cars kill people. ban cars. Banning soda is stupid. Those people can just buy more soda to make up for the ones they can't buy.

You're right soda isn't a multi-million dollar business...oh wait it is.

You're right it doesn't kill thousands of people every year. It kills millions. Soda is linked to obesity and diabetes.

If we make not wearing a seat belt illegal or not wearing a helmet while riding a bike to protect people we should outlaw soda to protect people too.

please link the proof that sode is deadly that kills(i know soda is bad) but please link to me where the soda trade is a deadly as the cocane trade.. It isn't like the drug trade by any means and people knowingly by soda knowing its bad for them. Banning it won't curb anything. That is a very very daft notion. Making laws to "protect" does not curb it. Those people buying big sodas will just buy more.

No one can deny your claim that sugary sodas are bad. That definitely is the theory behind the ban. However, caffeine is a psychoactive drug that speeds the heart and causes high blood pressure which is common in the attributes of heart attacks and strokes. We should then ban coffee.

This ban is just another tie up of tax payer money that is designed to have loop holes for the consumers yet limit choices from businesses. It is equivalent to allowing shoppers to purchase bags upon bags of coffee beans from a shopping center while limiting starbucks to sell only small cups of brewed coffee to customers. It isn't doing anything to eliminate health issues.

The principle design is to limit consumption by minors but, in all reality, It real...

Yeah well, Im disappointed that I pay Sprint over $100 every month, for crap service they barely provide if any at all, and then get upset when the government tells them they owe them something? Gimme a break Sprint, you should be paying your customers this money instead.

Now they are going to use this as an excuse to slow down their already snail-pace Network Delusion rollout.
