Cingular Expelled From Local BBB
It's because of the merger.
When you're the biggest company you get the most complaints.
A lot of the complaints most likely come from former AT&T Wireless customers who were so used to getting spoiled rotten by AT&T. Cingular not wanting to suffer the same fate won't budge on silly requests like "I want a RAZR for free and my N&W to start at 7 free for life with unlimited text for life."
The customer is NOT always right but they are the customer.

I think the BBB knows how large the company is. They weigh their decision on that fact. I dunno the exact number but for math reasons lets say cingular has 20,000 customers in upstate new York. if twenty do not get answered they get booted. Say Verizon had 14,000 if they had 14 unanswered complaints they would have been booted. AGAIN IT ALL COMES DOWN TO THIS... CINGULAR WAS EXPELLED AND NO OTHER CARRIER WAS. END OF STORY.

Verizon is the second biggest company, do they have the second highest complaints per million cust. NO!

Cingular just plain sucks. I tried to remain optomistic with them but they are truly the worst experience i have ever had in any service genre.
