I can't say I've been waiting for this, since I've heard about some minor glitches and changes I don't really feel that exited for.

Can someone tell me what are the greater diferences between JellyBean & Kitkat?

Does that mean the Note 2? :3

There are small differences, the most noticeable is how Google now is available from the home screen instead of having to launch the app. However, everything seemed to run smoother. I tried it on the Nexus 5. Liked it but it wasn't a big change from Jelly.

It would be most welcome though 😁

Ah, ok. I see. Sounds good, not something I'm dying to occur, but I'll def give it a try once it's made available.

No that is part of the Google Experience Launcher. That isn't a function of KIT KAT>

Biggest difference is lower OS requirement, so phones should run more smoothly.

Plus you can try out (Depending on OEM) ART which compiles the apps farther at install, bigger app size on storage, but apps should run even more smoother because it doesn't have to compile and run an app at the same time so more CPU power for your app.

So a more smoother experience, I've notice an hour or two more battery life a day, but your mileage may vary.

Kitkat removes the ability to place, change, or remove files from any "Secondary External Storage" device. That is what they call any installed microSD Card.

So you won't be able to organize any folders you've created on the microSD card. No adding, moving, or even deleting.

If an application has created its own "system" folder on a microSD, then it can access it. But these "system" folders don't always exist, nor are they ones that can be renamed or moved.

So KitKat 4.42 makes File Manager applications just about useless.

extremely discouraging. 🤨

I'll have to 2ble-check before downloading the "update".
