See, eventually you have to realise that most of the world still uses these 'legacy' devices and still sell new in many locations around the world. I realise it's funny from a north-amero-centric worldview, but they generate just as much business as an Iphone 5s does.

Yeah its true I do have south american sympathies. Kudos to induction skillz. Times are interesting at the moment, but overall the vibe seems to be gentle change across the board. Yeah, the whole thing about Bitcoin... it caught my interest lately. Thanks for the information. Sadly, our payrolls go by HSBC, so its good news. At least more options nowadays.

You mock, but the fact of the matter is that there are still today on the market Android devices being sold which run 2.3......if BBM can be made to run on Android 2.3, then it would be stupid for Blackberry not to try to tap into that market.

It may be a sign of the extreme fragmentation of Android, but 2.3 is not dead, not at all.
