I was offered a good position at Sprint several times, but turned it down each time. they do too much corporate restructuring and management seems to suffer the moth. You cant really cut staff to the stores. But dealer support, b2b sales, district managers, and so forth can be culled and the remaining pick up a higher workload. Same thing happens at T-mobile. Not secure enoigh employment. Too many friends have been laid off for me to work at either.

It's sad that this website isn't anywhere near as active as it used to be.

I'm not a big commentor just because my day usually doesn't allow me that luxury. I prefer to check the comments on this site because it seems to be more industry profesionals and not fans on here. But aes more sites specialize in mobile news I think many people spread out their browsing as opposed to this being the premier site for mobile news that it once was. I still check here everyday first. But many things I expect to have a bunch of comments on ends up with nill these days I have noticed.

This is pretty much the only phone news site that I check. I agree, I enjoy reading the comments on here, but it has had considerably less than what it used to have. The great thing about this site is what you had mentioned. Most people on here know what they are talking about, have been in the business and offer many excellent view points.

I agree. I think the problem with these types of sites is when you have a "lounge" area. Too many people tend to focus on that and not discuss what the site was really intended for. There are plenty of other websites to talk about random nonsense. This is a tech oriented website and there should be discussions solely based on that, not who got killed on American Horror Story last night ya know?

Besides smartphones I also like film. Where do I go to talk about films? IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes, Awards Daily, etc. Why would I want to waste my discussing hidden meanings in "Taxi Driver" or "Clockwork Orange" on a site dedicated to mobile tech? There's a time and place for everything

Yeah the only thing certain with Sprint is that you will eventually be layed off. But I've seen the same thing happen quite a bit at T-Mobile as well though. I'm hoping it doesn't hit any of my friends and former co-workers. But thats a slim chance!
