Any company wanting personal email addresses to conduct sales business, almost always ensures reselling the email address to someone else. That $25 turns into much more money for the company and more headaches for the consumer.

We give out our email address all the time. Whats the point?

And really you put a customer beware about giving out your email address when you can make up a new one without personal identification but you didn't make any mention about T-Mobile doing prepaid debit cards to keep track of people's purchases.
