They're going to keep doing it without a doubt. Just hope they modify what they do with the data, how and whom they collect the data from. I'm not against the NSA doing what it should do, but I am against spying needless and blanketly on its own citizens and those of non-threat nations. And the aggrigate of those non threats should be destroyed.

As far as paranoia, we give more information freely out, from Apple, to Google to Windows Phones and its apps far more then anything NSA has collected. Toss in EZ-Pass, your bank and credit cards, you honestly think they're not watching what and when you buy something or what your are doing or where you are going?? Buy a quart of ice cream at Shop Rite, they know the brand and flavor you w...

Well said versed. I understand the concept of what the president is going for. Now who will this third party be thats holding onto my info? Will it be a private company or another govt agency. The carriers have already said they want know part of this storage of data.

If they do continue gathering information, then it should be internally and destroyed asap. And for those from other countries, don't think your governments aren't doing this too. Maybe not as sophisticated, nor someone like Snowdon letting peope know just what your government is doing.
