FCC to Keep an Eye on AT&T's Sponsored Data Idea
Net Neutrality?
Now, if any company wants to not allow access to a site because they don't care for them or for whatever reason, I'd agree it would be an issue.
What are you nuts? This is just the move of a greedy provider, which if successful will only drive prices up at the very least. Do you really think that companies like Netflicks are going to pay for your data without raising prices on everyone (including non ATT customers)?
In the best case this is akin to your electric company asking Kenmore to foot the bill for the electricity your washing machine consumes. Do you really want the electric company checking how you use your electricity? Or would you prefer that they simply provide as much as you need?

But, since none of the other government agencies want to actually do their jobs and protect the American public, I'm glad the FCC was actually trying to do something. Our mega-rich, out-of-touch politicians ought to get off their fat lazy asses and do something of value other than backbiting and forcing the cost of everything up and all our jobs over seas.
