For that, I give it an 8.5 rating 😢

Who cares, Sprint charges more for that anyway. Just send your picture through the email client on the phone instead. I don't why people make such a big deal over MMS.
...
Actually you are not charged more for Picture Mail anymore, it is included on ALL Power Vision packs including the $15 one.
...
Yep, and with the SERO plans, it's even cheaper.
...
not everyone has a phone capable of sending email. personally i dont think its that big of a deal, but some people have to have it.
...
Most carriers can send email just fine. Just send it like a regular text/picture message but instead of a phone number, type in an email address. 😉
...
And then what if someone is trying to send you one? Christ I am tired of seeing high end phones not have such a little feature such as mms. To pay 600 dollars and not get such a simple feature is bogus. Even The Wing has mms.
...
Exactly. For $600, we can't even get MMS.
...
I know an older couple who buys and sells real estate. Their field ops use MMS to send pics on possible properties/land.
My point is, MMS is important to alot of PDA users, including myself. The Mogul is a great PDA, but no MMS is an inconvenience I'll not deal with. You're right, some people have to have it.
Sending via email is an option, but a limited one as some people with pics phones don't necessarily have data plans or phones.
...
im sure the guys at ppcgeeks or xda developers will develop an mms hack just like they did on the treo 700wx...so wait a month or so then buy the mogul and apply the hack.
...
Ha. It doesn't matter to me what Sprint charges for it, I pay for it and use it alot with the phone I have now.
Say what you want about it being a big deal, but: I compare not having MMS on a $600 phone to not having power windows in a $40k car. It's inexcusable and lazy, IMO. If it's technically impossible, fine. But if we can hack phones and do it ourselves, then the engineers of these companies can damn sure do it.
