Maybe in your area ATT is the almighty, where I live, T-mobile is more than sufficient for me. Average speeds of 15 down and 10 up, with top speeds of 50 down and 20 up are more than enough for me, its even better than my broadband connection. I rarely hit my data cap of 4.5GB and I'm online most of the time, listening to pandora (high quality) downloading torrents and apps, and when I do I don't get slapped in the face with fees. To each his own, I don't know how good ATT is around here, since the last time I was with them was probably 5 years ago. But if you like to pay more for "better service" go right ahead, I'm really content with T-mobile.
