Google Takes Rockstar To Court Over Nortel Patents

Sony.

When Apple went to court against Samsung over patent infringement, they trotted out a Nokia Windows Phone as an example of a device that does not infringe on their patents, but they also trotted out... a Sony Android device... as an example of a non-infringing Android device. Yet, everyone else in Android is getting attacked as infringing on something somewhere, whether they are being attacked by Microsoft (HTC), by Apple (Samsung), or by Rockstar (almost everybody). Who gets a pass? Sony. Why?

Oh, wait! Sony IS A PART OF Rockstar! I have suspected for a couple of years now that a strategic game is being played here... that eventually Google will be targeted more directly, and that Android will be ripped from them and place...

Is there anything specific to suggest that Sony is part of a plot? They very well could be (given the behavior of their corporate siblings), but Sony phones have always been at the lower end of US sales so it is also quite plausible that Apple and Microsoft picked the least-threatening android "partner" to make Rockstar look like it is somehow not just an anti-android plot.

I used to have more specific items, but after I posted them on my business website a couple years back, they were taken down and I was put out of business. It was a public intervention over my alleged schizophrenic behavior, and so I was later diagnosed and adjudicated insane, then put on disability. So, because it is all so sketchy, I'll just leave that part of it alone.

Even without going to any direct evidence, the behaviors sort of tell it like it is. Apple and Microsoft have been VERY nice to Sony, even while being very harsh to just about everyone else in the Android world. Yes, Sony doesn't do well in the US, but they are still an industry mainstay - and they are one of the few who is still holding their own and even turning a ...
