so your telling me the Galaxy S4 that i bought in July 1st is re released with chipset to allow sprint spark?

It's technically the 2500 MHz antenna, not the chipset.

I believe the older model does support dual-band (800/1900) LTE, which is better than Sprint's many single-band (1900-only) LTE phones.

Spark is just Sprint's branding for tri-band LTE.

So with the older S 4, you're getting access to two out of Sprint's three LTE bands. And those two bands do offer full coverage. That third band in the newer model mostly just offers better capacity in urban areas, for faster speeds during peak times.
