3G headsets?????
If this service is to be launced by the 4th quarter of this year. Shouldn't I wait to upgrade my phone and does anyone know what these models are yet?
...
You might be waiting longer than just the 4th quarter of this year, depending on where you live. Cingular's launch won't be widespread until early 2006, so you may not see any HSDPA service or phones 6+ more months. If you are patient enough, I would say it will be well worth the wait.
There have been hints as to what the launch models will be, but nothing has ever been set in stone.

I live in NYC market. I'm still on the blue side.

As big of a market NYC is, it's risky business to launch a service in its early stages there. You probably won't be seeing HSDPA available in your market until sometime early next year.
Like I said, you know your limit of patience. Decide whether or not you can hold out for 6 months for a new phone or not.

I been dealing w/ the v600 POS since it came out. So we'll see how much longer I can hold out, b/c this phone is almost done.

will 3g be out in LA early?

LA is another LARGE market, and I would expect Cingular to work out the bugs in its smaller markets first, before rolling it out in the larger markets. Kind of doing the testing, problem solving in markets where the least amount of customer damage (losing them) can be done. 3G could well take 6-12 months or the end of 2006 to fully rollout.

Fayetteville, North Carolina? What about there?
Thanks
