This is easily the most exciting ting that has happened in the mobile devices market in a decade.

It is exciting, but will it really take off? I remember when companies started marketing internal computer components more directly to consumers; it didn't really become a thing (except, of course, among hobbyists [which will always be a relatively small consumer group]).

What I'm trying to say is, will the American consumer even consider customizing their phone interiors? It's not the same as being able to hold up the newest or a well credentialed device and say "oooh yeah I'm hip". It's much less safe if you want to keep up with 'the joneses'. Which is what the majority of consumers, everywhere, want to do, apparently.

If anything it will be a lot cooler. I mean the simplicity of changing parts makes it all the more marketable. I mean the concept of having a phone that is your phone is a lot better then getting something like a different color case. I mean Everyone has at least one thing they want to change with their phone... With having the ability to make each phone to each person, possibilities are endless! (pardon the bad grammar)

What kind of crack are you smoking? Changing out internal computer components was HUGE and still is.
