Google Dumps Currents, Touts Play Newsstand Instead

Don't become too dependent on Google services lest they retire them. Gmail is unlikely, but what about all of the others that have disappeared? What if calendar is next?

From my understanding Google is folding Currents and Play Magazine into Play Newsstand so all content will transfer over. This is better news than what they did to Reader.
