Nokia makes amazing phones.

WP8 is still growing, but is farther behind than Android.

I don't know very many people who would not embrace a Nokia Android phone, in fact, it's on the top of the "what if" wishlists of almost every Android fan out there.

That said, WP8 would not be where it is today w/o HTC and Nokia's backing, where as HTC dropped from the scene mostly, Nokia took up the torch and ran with it past everyone else, (LG as a me too, Samsung as a me too and HTC who was in at the beginning but put more effort behind Android).

It's up to Microsoft to bring closer the development of hardware + their software now that they are taking over the Nokia devices and hardware Division.

I ran WP8 product launch(on a Sammy) for 5-6 weeks as a daily driver and was happy to see the WP improvements, even though the Sammy was not as cool or as high end as a Nokia.

Time will tell.
