Nokia Shareholders Approve Microsoft Buyout

Re: Its a Shame
As for making money, they still have to compete with Samsung and HTC. There is no real way to know how well they would or wouldn't do selling Android phones. The one thing they have proven is that they Windows Phone has done well with Nokia standing firm behind them, where other OEMs have been barely representing. I'm not talking about sheer numbers of handsets in customer hands, compared to Android. I'm talking about the overall progression of WP. Because of Nokia, WP has managed to gain 4% market share. That may seem small, but I don't think Nokia would have seen that kind of progress in a sea of Android phones.
Just my opinion, Android is where it is now, because of Samsung. Prior to the Samsung Galaxy series, Android was hit and miss, when it came to hardware and features.
