LG?
Why LG? I was looking to upgrade my Galaxy Nexus....but I won't buy an LG phone because I don't think LG hardware is any good. Why not Samsung, or Motorola?

Because of the cost to manufacture the phone it is much lower with LG. They have excellent hardware I am not sure what your criteria is based on when you say LG hardware isn't any good o.O... Have you seen the specs on that phone.
...
My opinion is based on my experience when I was working for at&t....LG phones were consistently the worst, they were constantly being returned, or sent back to warranty, much more often than any other manufacturer.

I don't mean to sound defensive, but have you read any Nexus 4 reviews at all? Every one of them basically says they can't even believe it's an LG because of the build quality. I'm and N4 owner and I can attest to that. It's time to stop living in 2010.

All the reviews I've seen said the Nexus 4 is a subpar Android phone with crappy battery life. Do you have a Nexus 4?
...
I don't know what to tell you. 9 out of 10 reviews out there are very positive. There's really no discussion to be had.
As for the battery life - yes, it's not the best, but that is due to the physically capacity of the battery (mAh). It's much better with custom kernels, though. If LG includes a physically better battery that should become a non issue.
