Honestly who wants a phone that it's just curved? I would need something that you can actually flex like the one's samsung is working on. Now that's something usefull.

Yea, but this is just the precursor to all that. This phone uses the kind of flexible screen technology that will make all that happen. Samsung recently announced the Galaxy Note Round with a very similar screen technology in an effort to upstage this announcement from LG, which has been rumored for months. The difference is that LG is slated to offer this phone (or something similar) in the US, while the Galaxy Round will only be offered in Korea. I'm personally not very excited about either device. But the technology inside both of them gives me a lot of hope that foldable (or rollable/scrollable) computing devices are on the horizon.
