i think it will actually catch on, as long as companys do it right(like apple with touch ID) we will see once more peaple start reviewing HTC's version, but if most people get the same results as Eric did with it only working 50% of the time then it wont get very for in the wireless industry, but with my iPhone 5s it works over 99% of the time and its fast unlocking my phone with touch id then without any securitym

I also dont see apple sueing HTC atleast do to they use different styles of fingerprint scanning( htc with having to swype and apple just putting you finger on the scanner)
