On top of all that Knox said, believe it or not, USCC's network in the Midwest is HUGE and very very concentrated. It would cost, at least some people estimate, $30-50 Billion to purchase out that equipment.

Also the few markets they did sell to Sprint and TMobile may seem like major markets, but were under performing so horribly that it was costing $250,000,000 a year in profit.
