Exactly I am surprised how nobody has noticed this yet. US Cellular agreed and sold off at the end of last year 10% of their overall business to Sprint for around $500,000. Earlier this year they agreed to sell off some AWS spectrum to T-mobile for around $300,000 this deal should close soon. My point is why would they sell all this spectrum including major markets to Sprint unless they have something even bigger in stored?

I know why that is it is very simple. First T-mobile did a reverse merger and bought Metro PCS. Second Softbank bought a 78% stake in Sprint while Sprint bought the rest of Clearwire. Third AT&T agreed to purchase Leap/Cricket Wireless pending regulatory approval. That would leave the biggest baddest dog left Verizon. Do you think Verizon will let AT&T with the acquisition of Cricket maintain the new number 1 spot again nah. Verizon will acquire US Cellular. That is why US Cellular has been making all these moves the last past year.
