Is this a rounded Note? I'm not really sure what Samsung is trying to accomplish here. Who is this supposed to appeal to who isn't already getting a Note 3?

I don't really get the point of a curved screen, won't that make it difficult to fit into your pocket?

One would think. But then again, with a screen that big, some curvature might actually make it start to bend with the curvature of your leg, lol.

On a more serious note, I was reading up a little bit on this device, and the one important feature that wasn't immediately clear in the article is that the screen uses Samsung's flexible screen technology. I think this is just an attempt by Samsung to beat LG to the punch, because LG is supposed to release a flexible screen device in November. But LG's device will likely be ready for mass production, unlike this device which is currently only slated for Korea.

I think the curvature is to avoid glare. Glare on my flat-screened device is a big problem, be it from lightbulbs or from the sun.. I'm thinking with the kind of curve it shows in the pictures, that would bring direct glare down to a minimum. Not sure, but it looks like it.
