The era of fingerprint sensors has just started. Tho' it already existed, Apple has just called in the "new" fashion in mobile devices.

Completely agree with you, Motorola had that Fingerprint sensor on it's Atrix 4G, it didn't worked that well but I mean it was their idea.
I guess we just have to get used to this "new" fashion.

I don't get this... when someone uses or applies a new feature, chances are, they'll get sued by Apple for using "their" patented idea, even though it may only relate to that patented idea in small details. But, when Apple uses some one else's idea nothing happens to it, or the veredict gets overturned (as in Samsung vs. Apple, on which Samsung won). Is Apple exempt/immune to lawsuits?
