When is this phone really supposed to come out. Q1 2006 is pretty vague and SilverTT is right there is no good information available on this phone. It sounds like Verizon might be the carrier, is that correct?

Also does anyone know if the phone will have Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc? Has WiFi been confirmed?

expected release date for VZW is between March 3 and March 27. no wifi. My Sis works for moto and i was able to play around with the phone for about a half hour on wed. Camera is a 1.3 mp and looks about the same as the v3c. it has a little bit of lag between activating the camera when you turn it on. there is not preset camera button on it you must activate through the menu system. it has a very nice feel when using the thumbwheel compared to the blackberries i have played with. reply if you have any other ?s. PS this phone was a engineering sample so i am unsure if the lag in the phone will be fixed

How does screen size compare to other phones (treo, blackberry, etc)? I wonder how it compares to th e Treo 700 or the EV-6700. I like the apps on both those phones and wifi for th ev-6700 would be nice but not necessary. With the Treo I noticed that buttons were pretty small, how do they look on the Q. Is Remote Desktop going to be available for the phone? How is the internet browser; speed, viewing, etc?

screen size is roughly the same size of most blackberries. buttons were a lil small for my fingers but then again im used to the Moto V710. Remote Desktop i will ask about and the phone should be activated on a account within the next couple days and i will let you know how the internet does on the phone. ill compare speeds to my psp hooked up to the wifi 😁

There seem to be a bunch of them on sale on eBay right now, in GSM. All the sellers are demanding e-mail conversations before accepting bids, however, so I feel a little uncomfortable about what they're really selling ("Buy it now" prices around $300 apiece.)
