IS IT REALLY THAT BAD?

I have been waiting for weeks for Amazon to send me this phone. They had the best price when it launched ($50.00) but 5-7 week wait for delivery. Still have yet to receive it, but am not as excited now. I like all the phone features, but was unaware how huge the phone was or that there were so many audio issues, cheap build quality and poor battery life. I love Nokia phones, in my opinion they are the best in the industry, but now after waiting in anticipation, I feel I'm in for a big disappointment. Is it really that bad? really? After reading this review I feel I should be bracing for a string of problems and frustration. Also, what kinds of music files does it play? I see conflicting information on different web sites. If you actually bought your music from the iTunes Music Store, then it will only play on Apple devices, meaning iPod or iPhone. There have also been a couple of Motorola phones for Cingular with iTunes, but no Nokias.

yeah, but only a certain number of times and you lose quality AND everytime I've done it, sometimes it'll mess a song up. The iTunes burning program is purposefully crappy.

To answer your question, the phone is not really that bad. To be completely honest with you the phone is no bigger than the LG 500 or SYNC, it may be a little thicker though...but the screen is worth the size. The internal LCD has 16 million colors, which makes web browsing and pictures look very nice. Keep in mind too, that most 3G phones are not going to have stellar battery life, including the N75 (that is the reason Samsung put 2 batteries in with the Blackjack) and that is because it takes more power to pull a 3G signal. But, honestly if you have used a Nokia phone in the past I think you will really enjoy this one. The 2MP camera is great and the N75 has the best web browsing capabilites of any phone that I have used (built in ope...

Thanks for the info. I should be receiving my new phone any day now, and I will trying the reformatting tips too. If it doesn't work out I think I might just have to plunk down the $500 and get the iphone even though I'm not happy with the price point they are releasing the phone at. It looks great, and I'm a mac fan....but I'm sure there will be issues with the first release as there always is with a new product. 😳
