Unfortunately...I am one of those who eagerly waited for this phone, as a worthy backup to my Treo 680, which is still my "daily driver" since it has loads of apps loaded onto it and is totally stable...a great business and personal device for me.
I finally got the phone yesterday...and I am almost ready to return it today. I am jazzed with the beautiful screen, shiny keypad, and even the "rubberized" matte finish. I am totally unjazzed with the cheap feeling construction, the poor call quality, the slow & laggy UI, and the dificulty (in fact the impossibility) for me in setting up my two POP3 email accounts that I did so easily on my Treo. I am pretty bummed with my initial encounter with this phone...
So...I am pretty much agreeing with the Phonescoop review. Wish I had seen it prior to owning the phone...but, oh well.
I have return labels being sent from AT&T to return the phone...and may be a Blackberry owner when the 8300 is released.
