This is serious stuff. Voters should note the names of any judges who agree with striking down net neutrality. We need to get all of these scum bags out of office.

That is so true. The Web without Net Neutrality is like the United States without the Constitution.

No. The FCC (executive branch) enacting Net Neutrality without going through Congress to actually pass the law is the United States without the Constitution.

It's about whether or not the FCC is abusing its authority. And the answer is 'yes it is'..

Government agencies that think they can just give themselves whatever authority they want, simply because they want it, are tyrants.

If the FCC can just give itself the authority to regulate the Internet, absent a Congressional statute giving it this authority, then there is simply no limit to government authority.

Not that I am at all surprised that a president who thinks he can govern solely by executive order and ignore Congress would appoint an FCC that thinks it can do the same.

But, subsequently, it is about Net Neutrality. That's what this fight is about. VZW has been one of the largest opponents of NN. They are lobbying to eliminate an obsticle that is using power to disrupt their goal and using the judicial system to stop it. while it is their right to exercise that right, VZW contends that they also have a right to do what they please with the internet. Whether the FCC is overstepping its jurisdiction, VZW is trying to overstep theirs. VZW does NOT have the right to control public access to the internet. At least the FCC is in the consumer's corner. I would worry more about us as consumers rather than trying to barter argument against the FCC's motives.

It is always sad when government sells out a branch of their own for PAC money.
