It's business as usual in the mobile industry. My god! First Vodafone sells back it's shares to Verizon and now this???!!! What's next? Samsung buying LG. Crazy 😳

Quite improbable.
LG is one of the two big companies in korea, they make electronics in genera.
As well, many (most) cellphone manufacturers use LG displays on their phones (apple's retina display is made by LG).

I guess time will tell. The real question is, can and will Microsoft keep Nokia on the path to their form glory. I have faith that Microsoft can take Nokia back to its former status. As they do make quality phones, the operating system is getting there, and the camera software and features on the Nokia phones is ridiculous I am jealous of the phones camera software capability.

Once WP8 gets the apps caught up at least with the most important ones like social networking, baking, and media streaming services they are going to be one of the top OS. Live tiles are amazing and the whole concept of grouping features on the phones is genius.

Microsoft will not take Nokia back to its former status. That Nokia devices section is GONE. It will be Microsoft being able to replicated Nokia's former glory which will be their attempt. What is left of Nokia won't be making phones for a long time.
