There is an update coming but who knows when. Some say soon, some say at the end of the month, it was just frustrating for me to deal with the 700p and its constant resets. If I were you I'd call up sprint (*2 cancel) retentions and complain about your 700p. You might be offered an upgrade even if you're still within your contract or if you're lucky enough be able to swap it out which others have been doing. You can also wait for this update to happen...whenever that will be. yes I sound like a 700p hater and I am because 700p users have waited a year now for an update and that's ridiculous. I sold my 700p and got me 755p which by the way works the way it should. I doubt you will be disappointed.
according to palm, the 700 and 755 run the exact same version of the palm os. while i will agree the 755 was more responsive than a friend's 700 that i tested, i could find no differences in functionality. i wonder if the updates are actually low-level improvements that were affecting stability and speed, like you say. they don't seem to be new features.
