Again, limited major city launch

Still, Sprint is focusing its efforts on the smallest of the larger cities. Of all the cities launched, Oakland is the largest this round, and even then, the signal is so weak, the speed so limited, and the coverage so terrible, I cant help but honestly say that Sprint is only doing the bare minimum to claim a launch when it is in fact nowhere remotely close to offering anything compared to Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile or MetroPCS in that city.

Sorry Sprint, but you may have towers in 151 cities or markets or hicksvilles whatever you choose to call them, but from mine and everyone elses experience of use, we all testify that keeping your speed and signal lower than usable is not launched, its just a marketing gimmick to say to the FCC "We laun...

If that is his experience then it isn't 'wrong', I know that many people in my area report similar problems.

If you have better experience great....remember as with all anecdotal evidence your mileage may vary...

Actually Rwalford79 could be more wrong. He could have said great job Sprint it works so well. Then he would have been dead wrong.

Ya buddy you really need to limit your preaching! I have sprint, my brothers have Verizon and AT&T and they are marginally better at best in the L.A market. L.A. Is not A small market! But hey I'm sure your therapist tells you to express your feelings so go right ahead and spout your verbal diarrhea 😁

Los Angeles is an area where it is difficult for anyone to offer decent coverage because the networks are so congested..not the world's best example

Lol, it's like a bunch of whiney little girls. It's a prefect example, an area where all networks have a hard time and Sprint keeps up! A major metropolitan area! What do you want to only compare a place that is easy to pot up a network? Isn't that what the original comment was saying sprint is doing?

Oh, so 1 example negates the fact that Sprint isn't in a terrible network state?

LA (being one of there best/strongest performing markets) has some decent LTE and coverage. What about the other THOUSANDS of cities that matter?

Take your phone to Las Vegas, one of the largest tourist cities in the WORLD, and tell me how that 1Mb 3G is - as well as voice and text services choosing to ...

So you have a bad experience, that's one! For every one there is someone with a good experience!

The point is the nut that posted the first comment and yourself want to claim that an entire network is bad even thought you live in 1 spot! Last time I went to Vegas my coverage was great, but I didn't leave the strip so I can't say anything about the areas where people live!

There are plenty of areas that the big two have trouble! Anyone that sits there and has a temper tantrum like that is either crazy or employed by another carrier!

Or maybe Sprint is just bad at business? Why can't people ever admit this? If you claim it, you're perceived as biased and a fanboy - or maybe, just maybe,...

Listen to yourself! If you don't like the service go with Verizon! If your are still in a contract then you didn't do your research before switching! If you recently switched... Why!

I guarantee you do not run nor are you capable of running business on that level! So for you to criticize is a joke!

If I were you I would either change service provider or seek help... Fast 😁

Oh god, here we go - selective hearing.

They lost 2 million customers because their network sucks - plain and simple. It's hardly me complaining. Let me repeat that again NOT MY PROBLEM NOR DO I REALLY CARE.

Cool, we've established that this isn't my opinions about the network - they're pretty much hardcore facts. Go do some polling and ask Sprint customers their major problems - promise the number one issue will be network issues. Do it yourself, I owe you nothing in regard to the validity of that.

Capable of running a business on that level aye? You mean a business that has been BLEEDING billions for the last HOW MANY YEARS?! Who COULDN'T run a business doing that? You think Sprint is at the forefront of business? The indus...

they lost 2 mil subs due to nextel final shutdown port outs and people who didnt act.......the network has constant high marks and awards and 2nd lowest drop call rates before network vision started.........3G is not so great but I get betweeen 8MB and 26MB in the 6 markets I have tested LTE in TN, VA, NC, and FL. Anything over 6 MB you cant tell the difference anyhow, instant buffers and loads so who cares if you get 10MB vs 20MB

I have had Sprint for 12 years, and while as of late 3G speeds have been ****e, LTE speeds are great. I get a consistent 20 mbps + download all day in the Bronx, NY. And the CDMA call network works great in most places I've been outside of NYC. I drove to Florida last months and had coverage at least 90% of the time with Sprint. Or one of it's roaming partners. So a 1000 mile drive and I had service most places. I don't know how you guys service could be so terrible. When while in Florida and in all the other states I drove through, I had similar coverage to what i get in NYC. People seem to really want to believe that the other carriers have such superior coverage than Sprint when that's not the case. Since this thread is about Major Metro ...
