Verizon and At&T do not have comparable programs to waht T-Mobile offers. Not even close. Their "response" to the Jump program was just sad. Their new "options" end up costing the customer substantially more then just sticking with their traditional upgrade program.

Not really a response if you ask me. More like a wimper.

If VZ and ATT lowered their price plans for their device programs (due to subsidy cost being removed), then they would be similar to T-Mo's...but this did not happen.. So customers actually pay more

Except that it's not equal because both at&t and Verizon have more coverage and a faster data network than T Mobile.....the service you get isn't the same, sure you pay less with T-Mobile, but you get less in return as well...I think a superior network is worth paying more for.....

One good place to look to discern who has the best coverage is to talk to truckers, truckers travel all over the country, and they rely heavily on mobile phones, so they need a carrier that has coverage everywhere.....and if you talk to truckers...they'll tell you, they use Verizon or at&t, they sure as heck don't use T-Mobile
