Yes you're right NYC is a very populated area and important. That's why they've had LTE here months. You can access it anytime you want. They just haven't made any announcements, because it was in the testing phase. They have many markets, large cities too, where they have LTE, but haven't officially announced it. They are waiting until they 55-60% coverage in a city before they claim it as launched. I have LTE in my neighborhood in NYC and where I work. And in both location I get 20+ Mbps download and 5-8 Mbps upload. Everyone complained about Sprint's network, and when they do something about people complain because it's taking longer than they'd like. I'd rather them do the network right than fast.
