Other than being totally owned by VZW, in order to light up the Big Apple with LTE as a carrier you have to bring your A Game. A whole lotta data hungry devices with even more demading users. A less prepared roll out would buckle unded initial demands and resulting in a poor 1st impression and a bad name in a heavy market.

I can respect Sprint, taking its time and doing it right. Even by rolling LTE out in rural less densely populated areas first.

Slow and steady wins the race and for subscribers that havetruly ununlimited data with no fhreat of it going anywhere its worth it.

SoftBank makes Sprint a contender again. Give it time for things to take root.
