These carriers dont really have to do anything or give consumers anything. They can actually just be like Tmobile and say hey buy this phone at regular price and pay us this much every month period. No discounts.

But hey we all know that we cant afford $600 for a phone up front so we look for what works for us so we can get our hands on the phones that we want that most of us dont really need think about it. The over 200 features your phone gives you how many of them do you actually use? seriously.

These carriers offering such a huge discount on these phones they are taking a risk as well assuming that you wont default on your payments.

The fact that Tmobile is pretending that they are on the consumers side is actually quite annoying and I have service with them.

Not because they gave me a payment option on a phone, not because their services are more economical (the signal sucks), but because I was able to bring my own phone that is the only way you are going to see any type of savings on your bill when you compare it to Sprint, ATT, and Verizon. Also their whole pitch on the subsidy is built into the cost of the plan is just baloney. Because hey if you buy a phone from them at regular price and bill it to your account you still came out $600 out of pocket. Then guess what you are going to drop another $600 once a new phone comes out. With a 2 year contract sure the price of the plan wont change but you still get a massive discount on a new phone so you can get what you want. None of those programs are appealing just buy a phone from another source where you arent going to pay $600 for one. I got my unlocked Note 2 for $200 from Ebay. Just shop around.
