....And said it wanted all the Sprint naysayers to wake up and smell the Kool-Aid. The ale of choice for teeny-boppers who equate size and sales with quality.

Those of us who work for a living and spend most of the day behind a computer and talk on company issued phone couldn't give a rat's behind about spending hundreds of dollars a month to do more of the same at home.

Yes because Sprint is so much cheaper than Verizon or AT&T. Lets see family plan with sprint is $150 for two phones. Gives 1500 minutes, unlimited mobile to any mobile(virtually unlimited minutes), unlimited messaging and Data. Verizon and AT&T is also $150 a month for two phones. Unlimited minutes and messaging and 4GB of data to share. The average consumer uses 1GB of data a month. So how are you saving money with Sprint?

I said average. There are going to be people who use more than the average. Just do a google search for the average amount of data a person uses. I am also a person who uses tons of data but I still have unlimited LTE with AT&T. But I have had many customer with Verizon unlimited data plans and they didn't want to lose it even though they use like 200MB but their friends said to not give that up. But if you are never going to use unlimited data then what is the difference?

And yes I completely agree that the cellphone companies should have unlimited data. The problem however is that they don't have unlimited capacity. Just look at sprint this very second. Sure they have unlimited data but their speeds suck because they don't have e...

They suck cause they pimped and hoed the network out to so many different companies MVNO's that is ! Maybe in the future they will get control of that. I hardly know anyone who doesn't use their data my friends who have shared data have 3 lines and are on the 25GB plan and they use every bit and if not more each and every month.

I have sold many phones and look up at a lot of accounts and most of them use less than 1 GB.

Again, I'm with you. I use tons of data. I have unlimited and I use it. Why not? right?

I have sold many phones too and I call BS on you trying to pass this crap sales line that the big red and big blue carriers on us! I use tons of data and most of the people I have dealt with in the wireless industry use much more than 1gb and if they don't for some reason it's the people who have wifi at their fingertips all day long! (The same people who cried about having to pay for data on a smartphone in the first place)

Actually he is right, most people do use less than 1 gig a month. It's a psychological issue, people think they need unlimited to make themselves feel better for fear of going over their plan..I sell all carriers including pre-paid and very few customers ever get to one gig..Att and Verizon grandfathered customers that still have unlimited don't even realize that they are throttled back because they never reached their data threshold. People in the industry like me, and the phone geeks use a lot more data than the average consumer. I have also noticed that the more education someone has, the less data they use, and that is true for home internet usage as well..The average home internet usage is only up to 6 gigs a month, but that will change...

I have seen the average data used by my customers and most of them use not very much. I have very few customers complain about overage. And yes I have seen other customers who use a lot of data.

Again I am one of those people who use a lot of data. Most people don't use pandora or youtube. They use facebook and the web.

Youtube for christ's sake, Iheartradio etc..... google..... few app store downloads. Everyone for the most part and anyone uses more than 1gb..... just because people have internet in all the places they go that doesn't mean everyone can. Just use brains if you have them that uses more than 1gb of info.

Well going through the thousands of customers I see a year and averaging their data they use about on average 1GB a year. Why don't you try doing some research instead of just blatantly disagreeing with something for no reason, espcially when you have zero facts. You are acting like a liberal. lol. 😉

No I am not saying that I am just saying that I can find just as much to debunk what you spew! And stop with the calling me a liberal crap. There is not one liberal bone in this body. Call me a tea party member I am sure that is your next insult when I am not a member. I use common sense unlike some brainwashed sells rep on phonescoop. I worked many years with Verizon and even Alltel (when everything was 3g at best) and customers used more than the 1gb avg you are spewing from that trap of yours. Also worked for ATT indirect and they never tried to brainwash us like some corporate kool-aid drinker party line pusher..... I still think you are full of crap and hot air. Maybe your head will fly away (hot air ballon)

Not true.
I used an Iphone 4s as my primary phone for a couple of months. I was consistently using 20%-30% more data when compared with what I used with my old android phone.

I've not used Windows phone or Blackberry long enough to determine if there's a difference in data ussage, but apple... That sh!t constantly pings the network more often than any other crap I've used before, and for no aparent reason.

There is no way that if she just uses email that she would use 5GB. You are trying to blow smoke just like a liberal. My gf uses email, facebook, kakao messenger and uses at most 2 GB.

Liberal?? Are you stupid? My name says Im not a liberal!! Blowing smoke ? Not quite either I pay the bill each month and I see the break down I am around my wife all the time and she doesn't do apps I am the one who streams music videos etc... It is very possible to do that much data with emails it's called we use our phone the way it is made for. She is on her phone emailing stuff all the time attachements spread sheets, pics and etc.... And your gf doesn't use the phone the way it was made and heck she probably has a secret phone that you don't know about when your not around......
...

Jul 16, 2013, 4:05 PM
You have to realize that not all people are high powered execs that need to send spread sheets and pics through email. Heck pics can be send by mms not costing data usage. So for a normal person email is almost zero data.

Neither are we sherlock! Which is part of my point normal people are using much more than so called party punch line of 1GB of data! When I left ATT they were trying to push the lie that the Avg use was 2gb.... Wow how that changes and keeps getting smaller and smaller..... But the data keeps getting faster and faster so fast data to less... Sounds like a great liberal way of thinking...... Get real dude get off the ego trip.

Let's take a poll 🙂 haha. I'm an entry-level employee, I'm in my sixth year of college, I have an one-x, and I frequently email newsletters, memos, bulletins, sales/stocks information, and I frequently use common apps like ifunny, facebook, pinterest, amazon, and a few others as well as downloading 2-10MB ROMs on a regular basis throughout a given month (while not on wi-fi) and I average about 350 MBs per month. Also, I think it'd be much more mature if we could all refrain from name calling and antagonistic statements like "I smell a rat" and "spewing out of your trap hole." Really, we're not children here. And by the way, most people who frequent the internet or have a smartphone also have home internet, so I think LibtardExposer is di...

And you are more than likely using wifi at some point. Also as for the name calling I do believe it was Darkstar that did any of that first calling me a liberal which there is no way in He11 that I am even close to being one. No kidding we are not children! Yes you are correct I have no home internet and I wish I could find someone who would provide internet in my area. Hughesnet is not even close to being good internet and I have already tried it and would rather do with out. All that I am trying to prove is that this 1gb avg is a bunch of crap and if you are going to push that crap I am going to put you right in your place.
