They doing something about the HD's screens. Now that it's summer time I've really become annoyed at my RAZR HD Maxx. Direct sunlight outside, in a car, by the window even with the brightness all the way up I can barely see what's in the screen. 👿 Combine that with wearing sunglasses...forget about it!
iPhone and Droid DNA, no problem.

No, I disagree. I am Verizon customer. I run with Motorola Droid Razr Maxx, first one. and I eat lunch in my truck in Florida in early afternoon every weekday.
I can happily say that even in full blasting sun, I see my phone just fine. I am not suggesting you are wrong, just that its not my experience with a phone a step below yours....I personally love the Droid series.

Since the screen technology is the same on both. Maybe it has something to do with the smaller screen size on the original RAZR MAXX vs the HD.
