I guess I just don't get it. The industry seems to be propping the consumer base up for all these different materials away from "Plastic" and I really don't see the big deal. Plastic has been used on phones for almost three decades without any complaints. How many years have we had plastic laptops and notebooks without complaint? Very few ever hold onto their phones for more than two years anyway and roughly 88% of people end up throwing a designer cover on the phone.

Choice is absolute in a consumer market, but the direction of migrating "everyone" to new materials and claiming they can't without eliminating certain ingredients like removeable batteries, seems peculiar and suspicious. As I stated above, I'm not for adding extra dollars...
