Kinda Smart move for Dish upping the price?

Well if Dish is trying to get in the wireless market they might be making a good move for their company making sprint up the bid for clear. The reason I say this is because in the end with soft buying out sprint (for the most part) they are going to be taking on alot of debt and if they fail well there is a chance that dish could come in at the end and buy them (not saying that it will happen just hypothetical) Who knows Dish could up their bid in the end anyways and make sprint bust their chops some more Pouring salt in the wound so to speak! I think it is funny to see how many people are crying over this Sprint crap I just sit back and watch the ship sink and someone else will gobble them up in the end it's not like the resources are going...

Well Dish doesnt have the money to up their bid. They will need to borrow more money from Banks as they already have ( a negative wont turn into a positive). Softbank isnt going to fail with Sprint. They are a telecommunication giant that knows what they are doing; furthermore, they have the capital to back it up and the know how to get things done.

Well my point is that maybe Dish knows what they are doing ! Maybe they never thought for a sec that they would win the bidding war. They have drove the price up of Clear which adds more debt in the end and if they end up going belly up then they could jump in and takeover not a very bad business move because SoftBank is taking over a losing provider and will have a crap ton of debt as well. Unless some major changes happen overnight Sprint is going deeper and deeper in the grave! I mean Softbank won't turn them around overnight and there still is T-mobile out there which could turn around as well so one of these telecos could still go belly up. They will more thank likely put the brakes on most of Sprints projects till they can review the p...

I think the reason sprint needs clear is the same reason there are alot of networks that DON'T have LTE. The places where they WOULD put LTE, currently have Wi-MAX towers co-owned by clear. I think once they completely acquire clear, we'll see a HUGE jump in LTE markets. Just my .02

I am not even arguing that point! I for the most part would have to agree with you on that point and as they would covert to LTE ! But who knows the quality of the LTE in the end when Sprint has so many pimps and hoes (MVNO's) using their network! Congesting a network is never a good think especially when you can't keep up! Only time will tell that is one thing we can all agree on.

They will be able to keep up as soon as they remove Nextel and add that spectrum over to Sprint's CDMA network. Same with Clear, that is the whole reason they need Clears 2.5ghz spectrum so that they can alleviate the congested network they have going on right now. The spectrum is used for more than just Wimax/LTE it also will be used for voice. This spectrum is crucial to their success and deployment of Network Vision.

I hate Dish even more with their crappy satellite, customer service, and business decisions. Garbage.

I have had their service before and had no problems hate on dish all you want yes they do have their problems just like most companies do they just get picked on even more. TWC,Directv,Comcast and Charter end up have crap customer service I have been around alot because I used to be in the military so I have bad luck with all of them. The Funny thing is Dish network's satellites are not crap at all they have the upper hand on their technology so get your facts straight before you open your mouth on that one I used to install for Directv and even they admit in our training that Dish has the upper hand in LNB tech! I have Time Warner cable right now and every time it rains they have problems with the service in our area. So they all have probl...

I would much rather an American company service America. Nothing like sending all that money overseas to support who knows what. In the end dish network maybe have the best wireless company because you never know what their vision could be. Given the right situation any company can pull themselves out the grave or see light at the end of the tunnel. But the joke is that sprint did not manage anything right or they could be on Top of the wireless market today. Sprint screwed Sprint end of story.

Once Sprint fully completes the entire network upgrade by 2015. Every Sprint tower will operate 3 frequencies simultaniously. 800mhz, 1900mhz, 2,5ghz. basically each tower will get extended range due to the 800mhz band. and when closer to the tower within th 2.5 ghz range, the data speed will be through the roof. Higher frenquencies give fasters speeds, but smaller footprint. but anyways, this upgrade is going to fill in a lot of holes in the network.
